The Broken Song Duology by Vaela Denarr and Micah Iannandrea takes place in a queernormative society set into the world of Astraea, a slightly future fantasy world with magical crystals, monsters and fantastical animals, and a vast spread of different peoples and cultures. The Broken Song specifically focuses on an area marked by the nomadic lifestyles of the inhabitants and a culture revolving around the worship of five gods through art, dance and music.
