I think Coming out is a bad name for this trope. If you really disagree with what I initially had it as Questioning is a better name than coming out. Coming out is something that people constantly do and this trope is mostly about the Questioning and figuring out your identity.-StrangenessBooks

We were initially confused with "coming-of-out" because we can't seem to find that as a term used anywhere but if you want to "coin" the term here, we're happy to do that. I also went to the website tvtropes.com and they seem to list this trope as Coming-Out Story so that's another option. Questioning on its own feels too broad for me. I'd prefer something like "Questioning sexuality/gender/etc." to make it more specific. Either way let us know how you feel because we're open to whatever. Coming out is pretty vague as well. Coming-of-Out is combining of Coming of Age and Coming-Out because they often linked. I put it as trope since they're a lot talk about wanting stories beyond it (I've seen people rating down books because of it which a bit much for YA). "Questioning sexuality/gender/etc." is too long. I can't find another trope that is just "Questioning" in terms of trope names. I get using TV tropes as a guide but a lot of those tropes are made up as well. Coming-out story (trope) would be fine with me.-StrangenessBooks
